Staff Handbook

Rules, Commands & Conduct Guidelines for All Staff Members

Staff Conduct

As a staff member, you represent the server and its community. Your behavior — both in-game and in any official channels — directly reflects on the server's reputation. Players look to staff for guidance, fairness, and professionalism. It is your responsibility to uphold these standards at all times.

You have been granted elevated permissions because the server trusts you. Abusing those permissions, even for minor reasons, is a serious violation and may result in a demotion or permanent removal from the staff team.

These guidelines apply to every staff member regardless of rank. No rank exempts you from following the rules set out in this document.

Do's & Don'ts

Below is a clear overview of expected and prohibited behaviors for all staff members.

You Should
  • Be respectful and professional toward all players at all times
  • Collect and upload evidence before issuing any punishment
  • Use correct command syntax and proper reason formatting
  • Remain neutral — do not favor friends over other players
  • Report higher violations to senior staff or admins
  • Keep your in-game language appropriate and mature
  • Stay up to date with server rules and policy changes
  • Communicate issues clearly and in proper written language
You Should Not
  • Punish any player without valid, submitted evidence
  • Use slang, brainrot, or inappropriate language in official chats
  • Abuse commands or permissions for personal gain or entertainment
  • Issue punishments out of personal bias or revenge
  • Write ban/mute reasons in lowercase or with improper formatting
  • Ignore rule-breaking because the player is your friend
  • Threaten players with bans outside of legitimate enforcement
  • Share confidential staff discussions with regular players

Moderation Commands

All staff members are expected to understand the moderation commands available to them. Use them responsibly.

Syntax legend: {Player} = required  |  [Time] [Reason] = optional  |  (-s) = silent flag

Example: /tempban -s Steve 30d Cheating
/mute
Mute Player
Punishment
/mute (-s) {Player} [Time] [Reason]
Prevents a player from sending messages. No time = permanent. Player can still play but cannot communicate.
Example: /mute -s Steve 15m Spamming
/tempmute

Example: /tempmute -s Steve 30m Hate Speech
/kick

/unban {Player}
Removes an active ban. Only use after a successful appeal or instruction from senior staff. Never unban without authorization.

/staffhistory
Staff Punishment History

/staffhistory {StaffName}

Time Format

Time is written as a number directly followed by a unit letter with no spaces. You can chain multiple units.

Example: 15m = 15 minutes  •  1h30m = 1 hour 30 minutes  •  2d12h = 2 days 12 hours

Important: Using /ban or /mute without a time value results in a permanent punishment. Always double-check before confirming.

Ban Reasons & Durations

Bans must follow the standard reasons and durations listed below. Always use the exact reason text as shown.

OffenseReason (exact)DurationNotes
Cheating / Hacking Cheating 30 Days Kill aura, speed hacks, fly hacks, X-ray, auto-clickers, etc. Always attach evidence before banning.
Punishment Evasion Punishment Evasion Permanent Banned player joins on an alternate account. Ban the alt permanently. Note the original account in the reason.
Cheating — 30 days: Long enough to deter repeat offenses without permanent exclusion. Escalates if caught again on return.

Punishment Evasion — Permanent: A deliberate act of deception and defiance. No automatic expiry. Player must appeal through official channels.
Remember: Reason must start with a capital letter and match exact wording. Example: /ban -s PlayerName 30d Cheating

Mute Reasons & Durations

All mute punishments must use the standard reasons and durations below. Always use the exact reason text as shown.

OffenseReason (exact)DurationNotes
BeggingBegging5 MinutesRepeatedly asking for items, money, ranks, or resources in a persistent or spammy way.
SpammingSpamming15 MinutesRepeated messages, flooding chat, excessive caps/symbols.
Hate SpeechHate Speech30 MinutesTargeting or demeaning a group based on identity in a hostile or dehumanizing manner.
Sexual HarassmentSexual Harassment6 HoursSexually explicit, suggestive, or unwanted sexual comments toward another player.
Racism / DiscriminationDiscrimination12 HoursRacial slurs, discriminatory language, targeted harassment based on race or ethnicity.
Examples:
/mute -s PlayerName 5m Begging
/mute -s PlayerName 15m Spamming
/mute -s PlayerName 30m Hate Speech
/mute -s PlayerName 6h Sexual Harassment
/mute -s PlayerName 12h Discrimination
Escalation: If a player repeats the same offense after their mute expires, you may double the duration. Persistent repeat offenders should be escalated to senior staff for a ban review.

Silent Punishments

Always add -s before the player name. This executes the punishment silently — no public broadcast to all players.

-s flag
Silent Execution
Required
/ban -s PlayerName 30d Cheating
The -s flag suppresses the public broadcast. Without it, a server-wide message announces the punishment to every player.
Always place -s immediately after the command, before the player name.
✓ Correct:   /ban -s PlayerName 30d Cheating
✗ Incorrect: /ban PlayerName 30d Cheating
Applies to all punishments: bans, tempbans, mutes, tempmutes, and warns. Always use unless told otherwise by senior staff. Kick does not require -s.

Professional Language

Communicate clearly, maturely, and appropriately at all times — in public chat, staff channels, and when writing punishment reasons.

Brainrot language, internet slang, and meme-speak have no place in official staff communication.

Inappropriate
"bro stop yapping in chat fr"
"ngl that ban was kinda lowkey valid"
"no cap he was def hacking"
"ur getting banned rn lmao"
"deadass stop spamming bro"
Appropriate
"Please stop spamming the chat."
"This punishment was issued correctly."
"There is sufficient evidence of cheating."
"Continued behavior will result in a ban."
"Please stop or you will be muted."
This applies everywhere: public chat, staff chat, ban/mute reasons, and all official communication. No exceptions.

Evidence Requirements

You do not have the right to punish any player without first providing evidence. Punishing based on suspicion, feelings, or hearsay is strictly forbidden.

No evidence = No punishment. If you did not record or screenshot the rule-breaking, you may not issue any punishment. No exceptions.
01

Observe the violation

Witness the rule-breaking directly, or review a report with supporting evidence attached.

02

Capture your evidence

Screenshot or record a video clearly showing the player breaking the rule. Evidence must identify the player and the violation.

03

Upload or submit your evidence

Upload to the designated staff channel before issuing the punishment. It must be accessible and reviewable by senior staff.

04

Issue the punishment

Only once evidence is submitted may you proceed with the appropriate punishment command using the correct duration and reason from §05 and §06.

05

Be prepared to justify your decision

If senior staff reviews your punishment, you must be able to point to submitted evidence. Punishments without evidence on file may be reversed and result in disciplinary action.

When in doubt, don't punish. Consult a higher-ranking staff member before taking action. It is always better to ask than to issue an unjust punishment.
